At 1,860 metres, Montgenèvre opens the doors of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, between France and Italy. Summer and winter alike, the mountain unfolds along ski and mountain-bike trails, hikes, passes and high-altitude lakes.

The apartment has a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed and, for the children, a starry sleeping space: a closed room with bunk beds for two.
LAO 1860 has a private enclosed garage, 2.65 m wide by 4.80 m long, and a ski room. Headroom is limited to 2 m: check it if your vehicle is tall or carries a roof box.
The slopes and ski lifts are 50 metres from LAO 1860, in the village centre.
Self check-in by door code from 4 pm; departure before 10 am. An early arrival or late departure can be requested and is granted subject to availability.
Bed linen and towels, end-of-stay cleaning, water, electricity, heating and fibre wifi are included. The tourist tax is added: its amount appears on your quote and is paid 3 days before arrival, together with the security deposit. Minors are exempt.
Yes. From 1 November to 31 March, French mountain law requires winter or all-season tyres throughout the Hautes-Alpes, or snow chains or snow socks carried in the car. Once you arrive, the car stays in the closed garage.
Pets are not allowed, and the apartment is non-smoking, balcony included.
The 50% advance payment made on booking is non-refundable. If you cancel less than 30 days before arrival with the stay fully paid, half of the balance is refunded. Full details are in our terms and conditions; cancellation insurance is recommended.
The smart TVs give access to streaming services with your own subscriptions. Fibre broadband is available.
